A Brand New Thrill (新しいトキメキ, Atarashii Tokimeki) is the first episode for the 2nd season of the Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club anime series. It aired on April 2, 2022.

Summary[]
After the School Idol Festival, the girls are getting ready for them to have their PV shown. Shioriko gets a text from Lanzhu, saying she will come to Nijigasaki. At the club, Rina is making last-minute changes to the PV before they showcase it. They accidently get the wrong video, and the audience leaves. Lanzhu preforms Eutopia, before the club begins their PV. Afterwards, they ask Lanzhu if she wants to join. Lanzhu declined, saying she thinks working with others is pathetic.

- All the bread rolls from Kasumi's Bread Roll campaign make an appearance.
- The teaser for the 2nd School Idol Festival uses an instrumental version of Nijiiro Passions!.
- The episode marks the first animated appearance of Rakshata and Jennifer from School Idol Festival.
- The title for this episode is a reference to a past episode from season 1. Coincidentally, both episodes show Yu waking up in her bed, with Ayumu calling her.
- A student resembling Nozomi Tojo can be seen at 15:19, with her uniform somewhat resembling the unidolized card from the February (Valentines/Chocolate) event in 2014

- Kasumi does the draw for the lottery, however she loses in a similar vein to Nico Yazawa in The Greatest Live Performance and Yoshiko Tsushima in Aye-aye, My Friend.
