This is a practice that was dropped after Love Live!'s explosion in popularity after the first season of the anime, so this became an old classification that is no longer in use for the newer singles of the Love Live! franchise. However, the start of the Love Live! Sunshine!! franchise has revived this practice, and hence this classification is still in use.
