For Victory (勝利のために Shōri no Tame ni) is the ninth episode for the 2nd season of the Love Live! Superstar!! anime series. It aired on September 18, 2022.
Summary[]
Liella! gets past the regional prelims. Chisato quietly tells the other 2nd years about the skill difference between them and the 1st years, which may affect them going to the finals. Keke thinks things are fine as they are but Sumire seems uneasy.

Callbacks to previous Love Live! series[]
- Kanon almost slapped Sumire if it wasn't for Keke pleading her to stop.
- As mentioned in the "continuity errors" section, the way Wien disappears after Kanon blinks from her reaction is similar to the Female Singer disappearing from the rest of Muse's POV from The School Idol Movie.

Errors & Goofs[]

Natsumi's post showed six fingers on her left handand is subtly visible when Shiki showed the post to Mei.- Wien's image has typo written as "Marugarete."
Continuity Errors[]
- Despite Aria acknowledging her presence (as her empty teacup was shown before she took the seat), Wien's presence in the cafe has not been acknowledged by anyone else aside from Kanon. As she magically vanishes in a flash after Kanon blinks while being surprised, it was unknown whether she hallucinated from her stress or if Wien is actually a human with implied magical powers a la Honoka Kosaka in Love Live! Once Again.
