Hinaki Yano was born on March 5, 1997 in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. She voices Yu Takasaki, the main protagonist in Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club.
Her call-and-response in concerts begins with "Hitori dake nante..." (lit. I just can't...!), then says, "Se~no!" and "...erabenai yo!" (lit. "Ready~?", and "...Choose one!"), with the audience replied with the latter together with her.

Etymology[]
- The name Hinaki means "queen, princess" (妃) (hi), "vegetables, greens" (菜) (na) and "joy" (喜) (ki).
- Hinaki's surname Yano means "arrow" (矢) (ya) and "field, wilderness" (野) (no).
Health issues[]
On November 10, 2022, Hinaki tested positive for COVID-19.[1]
Trivia[]
- She is in the same agency as Tomori Kusunoki and Anju Inami.
- Like Yu Takasaki, Hinaki is also jokingly referred to (though occasional) as the audience's/fans' female/seiyuu counterpart in conjunction with the meme regarding the character.
- Hinaki's line (as mentioned above) during the anime pre-episode live streams has been a running joke for a while, even leading to fans calling it as her "call-and-response", until it actually became one since the Nijigasaki High School Idol Club Nijitabi! TOKIMEKI FAN MEETING TOUR concert.
- During her Shiritsu Ebisu Chuugaku days, her nickname was "Pino". She also held the title of only member ever to have been from out of Japan's Kanto region, until current member Yuno Kokubo, from Aichi, joined the group in 2021 (ten years after Hinaki's departure).
- In September 2024, it was revealed that two Shiritsu Ebisu Chuugaku members were cast in the School Idol Musical drama series: Ayaka Yasumoto as Misuzu Watatsuki and Yuna Nakamura as Toa Kurusu. To this, Hinaki reacted by tweeting: "I guess Misuzu is still my favorite, right?"[2], referencing her time together with Ayaka in the group.
