Aqours Uranohoshi Girls' High School Radio!!![]
"Love Live! Sunshine!! Aqours Uranohoshi Girls' High School RADIO!!!" (ラブライブ!サンシャイン!! Aqours浦の星女学院RADIO!!! Rabu Raibu! Sanshain!! Akua Uranohoshi Jogakuin Rajio!!!) is a radio program with members taking turns as hosts/guests.
The program airs once a week, with a special episode. It began airing on April 13, 2016. You can listen to the latest program for a week here.
- The first special episode was a live public recording at the School idol festival Thanksgiving Festival 2016 on May 22, 2016. The members of CYaRon! were the hosts.
- The second special episode was a live public recording at the School idol festival Thanksgiving Festival 2017 on June 11, 2017. The GuuRinPa trio were the hosts.
A Radio Personality Election was held from October 19 to November 2, 2016 to determine the permanent hosts of the show. The results were announced at the SIF Thanksgiving Festival ~Osaka~ 2016 on November 13: Anju Inami, Arisa Komiya, and Aika Kobayashi were the winners. The banner was updated along with Episode 33 where they took over the program.
Name suggestions were in letter submissions sent by fans, and the name "GuuRinPa" (ぐ~りんぱ ) was chosen on Episode 52. The name is a combination of one character from the hosts' last names: "Guu" (宮 ) from Komiya (小宮 ), "Rin" (林 ) from Kobayashi (小林 ), and "Ha/Pa" (波 ) from Inami (伊波 ), forming "GuuRinPa". From Episode 53 onwards, the hosts included their trio name at the beginning of the program, right after saying the radio program's title. The banner was updated on Episode 58 featuring the trio's official name.[2]
As of Episode 93, the hosts have reverted back to regular groupings, while a new vote will be held to determine the new set of radio hosts.
A second Radio Personality Election was held from February 21 to February 28, 2018 to determine the next batch of hosts. The results were announced on March 11, 2018 and the winners were Shuka Saito, Aika Kobayashi, and Ai Furihata. The banner was updated on Episode 101 as they took over the program.
