Kyoka Takizawa is a supporting character in Love Live! School Idol Musical. She is the co-chairwoman at Tsubaki Takizakura Girls' High School as well as the co-founder of the Tsubaki Takizakura Girls' High School Idol Club alongside Madoka Tsubaki. She is also the mother of Anzu Takizawa.
She was the chairwoman at Takizakura Girls' Academy and the founder of the Takizakura Girls' Academy Idol Club prior to the combined annexation of the two schools and the merging of the idol clubs in the series finale.

Background[]
Kyoka has been rivals with Madoka Tsubaki ever since their school days; even now, as adults, they constantly fight about the ways they manage their schools. Kyoka's approach is to focus on entertainment and to build brand popularity.
Personality[]
Kyoka is very strict, usually being on top of what all clubs do at her school. She pushes her daughter to be a perfect idol, though she also has high expectations for Misuzu Wakatsuki. She is highly competitive and would fight with Madoka at any given chance, even during important meetings with other school directors.
Appearance[]
Kyoka's black hair is cut into a short, straight bob. Her eyes are grey.
In the live-action TV series, her hair is longer, with her bangs partly moved to the right, revealing her forehead.

Etymology[]
- The name Kyoka is written in katakana (キョウカ), which has no special meaning. However, when written in kanji it could possibly mean:
- 鏡 - "mirror" (kyo).
- 響 - "echo, reverb" (kyo).
- 恭 - "respect, reverent" (kyo).
- 花- "flower" (ka).
- 香 - "fragrant" (ka).
- Kyoka's surname Takizawa means "waterfall" (滝) (taki) and "stream" (沢) (zawa).
Trivia[]
- Her image color is generally portrayed as dark red, which is also present in Takizakura's uniform and school badge.[1]
- Kyoka and Madoka Tsubaki are the first adult characters in the franchise to be featured in studio recorded songs.
- Also the second non school idol characters to do so. The first one being Yu Takasaki.
