Maya Mikasa is a main character in Love Live! School Idol Musical. She is a second-year student at Tsubaki Takizakura Girls' High School. She is a member of the Tsubaki Takizakura Girls' High School Idol Club. Her image color is peach pink.[2]
She was a second-year student at Tsubakisakuhana Girls' High School and a member of the Tsubakisakuhana Girls' High School Idol Club prior to the combined annexation of the two schools and the merging of the idol clubs in the series finale.
Background[]
Maya is classmates with Rurika Tsubaki and Hikaru Amakusa, she's been an idol fan for a long time and knows a lot about them. Her parents sent her to cram school and made her go to a preparatory school, yet she's not good at studying.
Personality[]
While quite clumsy, she's the mood maker of the group and may sometimes say the right thing at the right time. Maya knows a lot about anime and idols, which naturally made her ecstatic to learn about Rurika's newfound passion in idols.
Appearence[]
Maya's hair is a dark, desaturated pink that she ties into long, thin twitails. Her eyes are pink.

- The name Maya (マーヤ) is written in hiragana, therefore it has no set meaning.
- Maya's surname Mikasa means "three" (三)(Mi) and "conical hat" (笠) (Kasa).
