Melody of the Heart (心のメロディ Kokoro no Merodi) is the ninth episode of the Love Live! School idol project Season 2 anime series. It aired on June 1, 2014.
Summary[]
The day of the Love Live! preliminary finals arrives, with the girls overcoming the cold weather to get together to the stage. However, Honoka, Umi, and Kotori are held back by a delay on an address they are giving at the school and become stranded. Determined not to let their efforts go in vain, the three girls decide to head to the stage on foot, finding that all of their fellow schoolmates have cleared the path for them. Rejoining the others just in time, the girls of μ's take on the feelings of all of their supporters and perform the song that they all wrote together.

- The title of the episode is a reference to the song Snow halation.
- A common misconception consists of an animation error featured in a scene of A-RISE in 10:45 had Anju's reflection being "sentient" by looking on the right side. In truth, this image is actually edited.
Errors & Goofs[]
- In 10:45: Anju's reflection is not quite symmetrical as the reflection twirls her hair closer to her mouth as Anju herself twirls her hair with her hand distancing from the cheek.
- In 13:32: Honoka and Umi are seen without their coat and scarf that they are wearing before and after.
- In addition, in 13:50: Umi is once again seen without her coat and scarf.
