Memories is a song sung by Kanon Shibuya and Chisato Arashi. It was used as an insert song for the Songs of Liella! segment exclusive to NHK-E Tele's initial broadcast of Love Live! Superstar!! Season 1 Episode 2 and Season 1 Episode 3.
It was released on October 27, 2021.
The song is written by Junko Miyajima, composed by Yasuhiro Obata, and arranged by Yuya Mori.
SIF 2: Miracle Live Description[]
Played during a special segment of episode 2 of the Love Live! Superstar!! anime. It follows an edelweiss motif, which means "courage" in the language of flowers. It's the perfect combination of flower and flow, as the lyrics inspire listeners to be brave. In an already stacked track list, the heartrending orchestral performance and straightforward lyrics make Memories stand out.
Played during a special segment of episode 3 of the Love Live! Superstar!! anime. With its lyrics about "dear memories", it's the perfect song for longtime childhood friends Kanon Shibuya and Chisato Arashi.

- "Memories" was not performed at the Hokkaido (3rd), Fukui (9th), Miyagi (10th), and Tokyo extra performance (11th) legs of 1st Live.
- It was replaced by the Chisato solo version of Ringing! in Hokkaido (both days), and the Chisato & Keke duet version in Fukui (both days) and Miyagi (performed on Day 2 only).
- The only Liella no Uta songs performed at the Tokyo extra leg were Primary and Departure, as one of the customary three Liella no Uta songs had to be cut due to the inclusion of Sunny Passion as a guest performer.
- It was performed on both days of the Chiba leg due to being sandwiched between Primary (Sumire & Ren duet) and Anniversary (Keke & Ren duet) on Day 1, and Primary (Keke & Ren duet) and Dears (Ren & Sumire duet) on Day 2. By process of elimination, the only song that they could perform with both Kanon and Chisato to include them in the remaining Liella no Uta slot would be "Memories".
- Similar to Primary, the only solo version performance of this song was by Nako Misaki (voice of Chisato Arashi), with Primary's solo being limited to Nagisa Aoyama (voice of Ren Hazuki) in comparison. To date, there has been no Kanon solo performance of "Memories".
- Although this is purely speculation, this is likely due to the strain it would have put on Sayuri Date (voice of Kanon Shibuya), who already had quite a lot to deal with in the 1st Live setlist (with solos/duos such as GOING UP, Tiny Stars, and Watashi no Symphony).
- While all 22 performances of 1st Live were streamed, only the Chisato solo version of "Memories" was preserved in the blu-ray of Liella! First LoveLive! Tour ~Starlines~ due to the discs being limited to Gunma Day 1, Miyagi Day 2, and the Tokyo extra performance Day 2 (with neither the Miyagi nor Tokyo extra performances having "Memories" in their setlists). As seen in the list above, the legs with the duet versions (Fukuoka, Aichi, and Chiba) were not included in the blu-rays.
