Etymology[]
- The name Mika (2) is written in katakana (ミカ), which has no special meaning. However, when written in kanji (美香 or 美加), it could possibly mean:
- 美香 - "beautiful" (美) (mi) and "fragrance, fragrant" (香) (ka).
- 美加 - "beautiful" (美) (mi) and "add, increase" (加) (ka).
Trivia[]
- The "Mi" in her name is an alternate reading of the Japanese character for three, which combines together with Hideko and Fumiko to be a pun for one, two and three.
