Misato Kawamoto is a supporting character in Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club. She is also Ai's close childhood friend.
She is also a supporting character in Love Live! School Idol Festival ALL STARS debuting in the game's 23rd chapter.

She has known Ai since their childhood, and they are close enough for Ai to consider her as her big sister.

Etymology[]
- The name Misato means "beautiful" (美) (mi) and "village" (里) (sato).
- Misato's surname Kawamoto means "river, stream" (川) (kawa) and "base, root, origin, source" (本) (moto).
Trivia[]
- A recent update in School idol festival includes Misato as an SSR Support card, alongside Alisa and Tsuki.
- Aside from this, Misato does not appear in any of the main or event stories in School Idol Festival.
- Also, Misato is currently only obtainable by watching ads, playing Live Arena, or scouting in a Waku Waku scouting as Support Scouting isn't available in Nijigasaki mode yet.
