- The name Rina means "village" (里) (ri) and "vegetable" (菜) (na).

- She's a member of the same idol unit as Ibuki Mita: CROWN POP. Coincidentally, they both played the same character, Rena Suzuka.
- Rina auditioned to be part of the very first School Idol Musical performances but didn't make it through. She did, however, go as an audience member.[1]
