Shout Out Your Love (大好きを叫ぶ Daisuki o Sakebu) is the third episode of the Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club anime series. It aired on October 17, 2020.
Summary[]
Karin and the others find out about Setsuna's real identity and confront her, Nana declares that Setsuna no longer exists, asserting that she has quit being a school idol and the other girls should continue without her if they intend to go to Love Live.
Nana then chases down a cat running around the school only to be interrupted by Rina, refusing to hand her the cat. Ai shows up as well and explains that the cat was found near the school and that neither of them were able to take it home. This is where Nana shows a kinder side to her as she softly asks for the cat's name. Afterwards, Nana hears Yu playing the piano in a music room, she interrupts and they have a conversation about school idols. Specifically, Yu gushes about Setsuna without knowing she's speaking to her while Nana defends 'Setsuna's' decision to quit. Yu, Kasumi and Ayumu later find out Setsuna's identity from the others and they act all confused. Yuu isn't discouraged by this as an avid Setsuna fan, so she calls her to the rooftop to talk. Nana complains that all her dreams have been shattered and there was no way her club could have entered the Love Live given the state it was in right before it shut down.
Yu responds by telling her not to join the Love Live because it didn't matter to her anymore. With this new profound knowledge Nana changes into Setsuna and performs DIVE! on the schools's balcony; this attracts Ai and Rina's attention. She, along with Shizuku, Emma, and Kanata, the previous members of the club, all join back in along with the current members.

Trivia[]
- International streaming version End Card: Setsuna Yuki
- This episode marks the first animated appearance of Setsuna/Nana's mother, who is previously mentioned in the All Stars game.
- Unlike the previous installments, the episode also broke the trend by subverting the scene of any possible performance for a trio in a quiet/little-to-no audience, though the episode retains the cheering audience/characters-hiding-from-behind trope.
- Setsuna's games in her suitcase are a reference to real-life games:
- "Last Game IX", "Last Game X", and "Last Game XI" are references to "Final Fantasy IX", "Final Fantasy X", and "Final Fantasy XI", respectively.
- "Demon Spirit" could be a a reference to "Demon's Souls".
- "GHOST", "GHOST2", and "GHOST3" is likely referring to the "DARK SOULS" trilogy.
- The red, blue, and green colors on the cases are references to the colors Nintendo, PlayStation, and Xbox use on their game cases.
- Though played for laughs, Kasumi pulls her koppe pan out from Shizuku's rear.
- Setsuna's voice tone changes during her sponsor announcement narration.

Differences from the All-Stars game[]
- The reveal of Setsuna's secret identity (or a double life) was tackled in 2 fairly similar strategies but her confrontation was handled differently:
- The plot in All-Stars mentions the School Idol Club is really brink of disbandment but saved by the bell, thanks to Kasumi and Ayumu's 'revival' per-se.
- Recruitment was mostly Yuu's major contribution, convincing/persuading all the members to join [without Shoiriko prior to Season 1 Chp.9 main story].
- At the end of Chapter 1 (final story post super stage), she said "That's right. I'm Setsuna." in defeat. The wild goose chase comes to an end.
- The anime [recently] has taken a different spin; it starts off with 5 people in no particular order: Kasumi, Shizuku, Emma, Setsuna, and Kanata. After Setsuna's debut they 'disband' for no particular reason. Later in episode 2, Kasumi confesses to Yuu and Ayumu, and reboots the club with just the three of them in it because Setsuna's "too bossy." Kasumi then explains her excuse and view of her story on why the Club disbanded.
- In the flashback, Setsuna was being pushy and stated "Don't you want to be like those school idols who are best of best? We need to train like them," then Kasumi argues back and said, "School Idols have to be cute!" as a counter-argument to question Setsuna. Thus the disbandment of the club.
Errors & Goofs[]
Strikethrough lines are errors being amended from the BD/DVD releases of the Anime.
03:02 Setsuna's eye is thinner and in the next scene her CHASE! outfit on the right is not filled upon laying down; her chair is uncolored; her game collections in the middle row doesn't correspond in the next scene as she close her suitcase, and sticky notes appears on her cabinet despite not being there.Setsuna is facing the window instead of back, however the lightning is wrong.Ai's reflections in the glass is not properly mirrored.Nana walks sudden as she passed Yu.
Changes in the BD/DVD release[]
- During the prologue, Karin and Emma's scene added darker shades, and at the end of the prologue the sunray direction is casted from right instead of left.
- Setsuna's feelings is redrawn towards the end of first half.
- Several adjustment has been made during the formal meeting of the School Idol Club.
- Just before Nana changes to Setsuna, the camera now pans on Nana as she walks off.
