The Greatest Live Performance (最高のライブ Saikō no Raibu) is the eleventh episode of the Love Live! School idol project anime series. It aired on March 17, 2013.
Summary[]
μ's manages to make it to rank #19 on a school idol ranking site, making them eligible to apply for the Love Live! tournament. This puts pressure on them to keep their position, because there are other groups catching up and the group they kicked out of the top 20 list.
However, things don't go their way when they are unable to secure a spot on the auditorium for the upcoming school festival, thanks to Nico failing a lottery spin. Honoka suggests that they instead hold their performance on the school rooftop where they train. While the other members are slightly hesitant to this idea, they agree.
Meanwhile, Kotori seems to be preoccupied by the letter she received, not being able to find an opportunity to discuss it with the others. As Kotori calls Umi on the night before the festival to tell her what's bothering her, Honoka ends up overworking herself, and ends up with a fever on the day of the festival, but forces herself to come to school, anyway. Despite the rain, the concert goes on, but after the first song finishes, Honoka suddenly collapses due to her fever, surprising the audience and μ's.
