This Yet Unknown Feeling (ใพใ ๅใใชใใญใขใ Mada Na mo nai Kimochi) is the first episode of the Love Live! Superstar!! anime series. It aired on July 11, 2021.
Summary[]
Kanon Shibuya is a girl who wants to be a singer. But whenever it comes to matter, she would fail. Because of this, she wasn't accepted as a music student at Yuigaoka Girls' High School. She encounters a girl named Keke, a Chinese exchange student from Shanghai who becomes interested in Kanon's singing voice. Keke wants Kanon to become a school idol with her. Kanon refuses, but Keke insists. The two head to Kanon's cafe for the night. Kanon explained to Keke that the reason she couldn't sing all dated back to middle school. But she still loves singing and decided that she will help Keke to make a school idol group. The next day, Kanon and Keke scout around for anyone willing to become school idols, but were unable to find one. As they return home from school, Keke once again asks Kanon to become a school idol with her and reveals that Keke only wants Kanon to be her mate, but Kanon refuses again and gets angry from Keke's persistence, so she leaves. As she thought about it once more, she came back and sang out Mirai Yohou Hallelujah! loudly.

- The plate number (27-71) on a vehicle where Kanon hid is a reference to both Anju Inami and Naomi Payton's birth dates (February 7 and July 1st).
- Coincidentally, Naomi's birthday was 10 days before episode 1 of the anime aired.
- The title of this episode shares a reference to a line from Hajimari wa Kimi no Sora that was used in the lyrics.
Callbacks to previous Love Live! series[]
- The prologue had Kanon (in her middle school years) singing in vain to Honoka Kosaka performing SusumeโTomorrow in the opening sequence in Come True! Our Dreams!.
- Keke's reaction to Kanon singing had a similarity with Hanayo Koizumi seeing Tsubasa and Honoka passing by in The Door to Our Dreams.
- A White Feather appears from the sky and lands on Kanon's bag.
