It's been an eventful month for the entire fandom. Though I'm sure many of us might have wanted to freeze time or perhaps turn it back, it was without a doubt, the greatest ending they could have had. It's time to write the history books.
1. Love Live! The School Idol Movie at the Awards
Not going quietly after setting box-office records, the movie went on to be nominated at the 39th Japan Academy Awards as one of the five to receive an Outstanding Animation award, though it failed to receive the Most Outstanding Animation award. Nitta Emi was in attendance along with the movie's director to receive the award.
What they did manage to receive however, was the Animation Of The Year award at the Tokyo Anime Award Festival 2016! Nitta Emi was present to receive the award on behalf of the team.
2. Love Live! Wikia's newly formed sub-team begins releases
Racing against the clock before the Final Live, we released subtitles for not one but two of the past live concerts:
The subs are available on the pages, so do watch them if you haven't yet! To pre-empt any questions, we do intend to sub the Final Live's BD when it comes out, but can't say for sure as to our schedules until that time. Other concert's subs may also come in the next few months.
