What I Want to Do is... (やりたいことは... Yaritai Koto wa...) is the eighth episode of the Love Live! School idol project anime series. It aired on February 24, 2013.
Summary[]
The chairwoman clarifies to Honoka and the other girls that the school will be closed down if the school's upcoming open day is not received positively. As Eli tries to think of ways to attract potential students, Umi suggests to the group that they should get Eli to teach them how to dance after learning from the previous episode she was a ballerina. Eli eventually agrees to help them out and puts them through intense training, but she is surprised to find them willing to pull through, despite the roughness of it all.
As Eli becomes conflicted about what she should do, Nozomi tells her that she should do what she wants to do instead of what people expect her to do. Eli breaks down to Nozomi and says she wants to join μ's, but doesn't feel she is able to do so because of the way she treated them in the past. Nozomi informs the others of this, and they formally invite her to join μ's.
Eli finally becomes honest with her feelings and self, and joins the group along with Nozomi, who reveals she was the one who came up with the group's name; "μ's" meaning the nine goddesses of music. Coincidentally, there are now nine members in μ's. μ's performs "Bokura no LIVE Kimi to no LIFE" at the open day with the now complete group to a pleased crowd.
