Wien Margarete is a main character in Love Live! Superstar!!, initially a supporting character in its second season. She is a first year student at Yuigaoka Girls' High School, initially introduced as a third year junior high student before enrolling in the second season's finale. She was originally known as a mysterious girl who is fixated on Kanon Shibuya. She is a member of KALEIDOSCORE, a sub-unit under Liella!. She debuted with the song Butterfly Wing when she was still a solo idol. Her image color is elegant purple.[1]
Background[]
A girl from Vienna, Austria; the youngest daughter of an important musical family. She has been called a prodigy for singing since she was a little girl. In order to follow her older sisters' footsteps, Wien tried to enroll in a prestigious music academy in Vienna, but she failed the entrance exam. However, Wien's parents decided to give her a second chance, and they made a deal with her involving Love Live, which is famous enough for people in Vienna to know about it. If she wins first place in the Love Live, they will use their influence to get her admitted to the academy as a transfer student. Determined to achieve her dreams, Wien decided to travel to Japan in order to participate in Love Live.

Wien has a slim figure with long, purple hair that is curly, with half of her hair being in a braid along the top of her head. Her eyes are green in color. When she was a third year junior student, she wore a uniform consisting of a red vest, black jacket and a white collared shirt with a black tie. As a Yuigaoka student, she wears a uniform consisting of a dark blue blazer, a black shirt and skirt and a white collared shirt with a red ribbon.
Personality[]
Wien is a cold-blooded, passionate and stoic girl, and doesn't seem to express much emotion, but can act recklessly or overdramatically when fussy. She's strongly confident in her abilities and talents, always delivering powerful performances, and never wanting to be compared to other idols, especially Kanon. She takes her aspirations very seriously, and isn't afraid to affront others she deems lower than her level.
She can also have a cute side, though.
Her favorite saying is, "Stick to your guns."
Hobbies[]
Wien is shown to be skilled at both ballet and singing, incorporating ballet into her choreography.
