Yukino Hojo is a main character in Love Live! School Idol Musical. She is a first-year student at Tsubaki Takizakura Girls' High School. She is also a member of the Tsubaki Takizakura Girls' High School Idol Club. Her image color is orange.[2]
She was a first-year student at Tsubakisakuhana Girls' High School and a member of the Tsubakisakuhana Girls' High School Idol Club prior to the combined annexation of the two schools and the merging of the idol clubs in the series finale.

Background[]
Despite being a first year, Yukino is always around Rurika Tsubaki, whom she's very attached to, and the rest of the second years. Yukino met Rurika when she was in elementary school. Rurika made her feel better when Yukino's dad didn't eat the chocolates she made for him and she has been following Rurika ever since, while also improving her cooking skills.
She has the highest academic ability in her grade and used to do ballet when she was younger.
Personality[]
Yukino has a laid-back personality, she’s not good at confrontation and isn’t competitive, but she wants to be useful to others someday, especially Rurika.
Appearence[]
Yukino has long, wavy black hair with bangs that she parts in the middle and separates from the rest of the hair with a big white headband. She has bright blue eyes.

Etymology[]
- The name Yukino (ユキノ) is written in hiragana, therefore it has no set meaning. Her name may mean "Snow" (雪) (Yuki) and "Field, meadow" (野) (No).
- Yukino's surname Hojo means "North" (北) (Ho) and "Line, stripe, string" (条) (Jo).
Trivia[]
- Yukino's image color may appear to be the same as Honoka Kosaka, both being "orange". Yukino's color, however, is written as 橙色 (Daidaiiro) while Honoka's is オレンジ (Orenji).
- Daidaiiro is rarely used nowadays in Japan, generally opting to use Orenji instead
